I'm not bragging, but when we built our house, we had central air & heat installed in the garage, which was $ well spent.  We rarely need the heat, but the AC is nice here in Southeast Texas.  The garage is 1,000 sq ft, insulated, with insulated garage doors.  I put seal strips on the garage doors to reduce infiltration and bugs.

that's the NON MELTING type of fan... right Creighton?

hahaha.... yeah, it's that hot!  veryangry veryangry

Central air and heat in the garage is a GREAT idea. I've had a/c in the last 2 shops I've been in/built... well
worth the money. SE Texas is hot and "wet"... just to die for. Over here (San Antonio) we're a bit dryer, but
at over a 100 degrees, 8 weeks or so a year.... damn!

That's why "GOD" made a/c!!!  biggrin

I'm headed to San Antonio in 2 weeks, hope the temps drop back into double digits!
