Hauled this home from a tree thicket at the neighbors. It will be my rain water collection system.
Wondering if anyone knows what is was for originally. 4'5" tall with a 2'6" aluminum tub inside.
Thanks!

Part of a still?  Got no clue on the vat but the scale looks similar to those used at river gaging stations to measure the level of the river.

Was hoping it would be part of a still but no signs of heating from below and no coils.
Back after fire but before the wheel I did land survey stuff. That's an expandable 25' carbon fiber pole marked in 10 ths of a foot.
Used last to knock the snow off the Dish antenna :-).

I'm thinking wash tub or dry cleaning. There was was a hinged lid at some point.

Thanks all!
