Guys, what do you think of this one here? I know the WD-5 is one of the more desirable coolers because of its small size, but am having trouble pinpointing a true value. Im in Houston and it's in St Louis. The guy told me he'd take $500 for it...i just have to take shipping into account. So therefore, haven't pulled the trigger.....yet.

He says it does not cool. Considering that I can see a few other machines around it, I would tend to believe him.
$500 + not cooling + shipping = "pass" in my book.
You could maybe ask a few more questions about the cooling system and why he says it does not work, but I can't think of anything he could say to convince me it works.

Spoke with him this morning. It turns on and runs, but doesn't cool. He said the cable also will need to be replaced. I think I can get this shipped down to Houston from STL on Uship for around $200. He's willing to hold it for as long as I need, love sellers like that. He's gonna hold it for me today while I mull it over.

Ive heard that line before, I will hold it for you! I wouldnt wait too long, money talks especially to someone that has other machines, or just needing the cash flow.

Bought it....$500. I think this is one Ill keep since they go so well inside. Eric will be glad too, since he just scored another $900 on a compressor replacement.

BC is restoring a WD-5 if anyone needs one that has been restored. It will look very nice. I was supposed to get it but I ended up with a WD5 from Curtis (it's a long story , it worked out for BC and me though).
