Nice work.  3 years is about right.  Did you re-galvanize/replate the inside or paint?

I stripped it, then repainted it. The bottom of the tub was pretty well overtaken by rust, so I replaced it with a new panel. I polished out the drum with a cloth wheel on my 4" grinder and jewelers rouge
