This popped up for sale locally.  Can anyone tell me what it is and might be worth?  He's got it listed at $400.00

Thanks

AMI D, or Model D,  1952.

depending on when it was made, it plays 78's or 45's.

The pilasters on the corner light up as well as the top selection listings, looks cool even when not playing.

400 is a good price if it's all intact, don't think the plastics are repopped.

Collector wise, not as popular as the Wurlitzers and Seeburgs, but they do sound great, and kinda have a cool factor. And a visible mech.

the only problem is parts are very hard to find. If the plastics are broken which they always are you will not find a replacement

good price if it will play.  78s are a pain.  I own a couple of AMIs as well.

It's a nice box, I've had one for 25 years. The plastics are hard to find, but this guy is making the  top piece http://www.jukeboxusa.com/

and this guy has used parts... http://www.jukeboxparts.com/AMI-Rowe-parts.htm
