Yea I paid $50 for mine and it works but being that ugly brown I don't think anybody would want to buy bait out of it.

It seems like sellers have been asking outrageous prices for their soda machines/coolers lately...?  down

I heard these storage war shows got a lot of wanna-bees off the couch and out to make their fortunes.
Looks like this guy is really hyped up and doing all his homework, cuz he's already contacted two of the most knowledgable soda machine guys in the country.
We don't know how high he bid on these machines but since he probably knew nothing about them beforehand, I'm willing to bet he may have more than a little trouble just trying to break even.

Yeah I agree.. he thinks he found a gold mine...

I told him I have bought and sold unrestored units for 50.00 each and that they are not very collectable...

He said he was checking some other "sources" to get some pricing (little does he know we all know each other, ha ha)..

I'll suggest 100 for the ones in boxes and 75 for the ones not in boxes...

and if he wants to sell the for that, I'll pass along his info...

Is he paying you to take them?Huh?Huh?

Why would anyone put in all that time to redue those machines and remove the ugly brown wood finish?  I would simply harvest the colling systems and call it a day.

I do think $180 would be fair if all the parts are still in new condition. But I am not an expert.
