Hope I am not stepping on toes. What subjects do you put in the search line when searching CL? Do you do a seperate search for every brand? That could be time consuming! I search Coke, Coca-Cola and Soda Machines, coolers, fountains and dispensers. Just putting in that takes some time. Just wondering if there is a better way. BTW my area has very little listed. What is there is overpriced or trash. Just looking for those great deals other guys seem to find. Terry

Try search tempest, it searches all the local craigs. Deals don't last long, watch it like a hawk if you want a deal. And they typically dont jump out at yuh, its tedious but look at every listing that is related because sometimes there hidden.

Watching craigslist like a hawk and being prepared to move quickly when a deal is spotted is the key to success. Unfortunately for me, things like work, the kids, the little missis, and budget always seem to get in the way of getting those great deals. I have been forced to pass on two good deals over the last four months due to a recent move which effected both my budget and my ability to store any new finds.
In general I browse all of the area craigslist ads in both the collectable and antique sections. I am also searching for tools and car parts so I am looking in those sections too. I average two to three excellent buys per year. Most excellent buys require a days worth of driving to cover the round trip distance. Thats where the timing always comes into play. I may not be able to roll out in my old truck during the work week and the excellent deals don't usually wait for the weekend.

My probably twice a day search is "Coke","Coca","Pepsi","7up","Dr Pepper","Soda","Vending"...every once in a while I throw a "Nehi","RC Cola","Royal Crown"."Nesbitts", or "Barqs" in there. I still really miss Craigslook, that was such a great tool for searching.

Craig's list app for Iphone or Ipod is better than any computer. Can easily select any area and can build a list of as many areas you want to search. Lighting fast and so easy.

I go to Google, and options, that the little sprocket wheel in the upper right hand corner. Hit advanced search, type in what your looking for in (all these words), then type in craigslist.org in (Search with in a site or domain.)

Any other good Craig's List search tools now that they have shut down Craig's Pal too? That was a great search engine, it's a shame they shut it down.

I use "cola machine" on eBay & CL. It covers Coca Cola, Pepsi Cola & RC Cola all in one search. I have yet to find an RC 81 yet though!
