Here's a nice cooler for sale if anyone is interested in it.  Seems pretty reasonable depending on the quality of workmanship done.

That is a good price even if it wasn't painted. Somebody should trade him a bunch of outgrown baby gear  biggrin
If that were near me, I would be talking to him in person about now.

I'm not familiar with these coolers.  Is that a Westinghouse?

Which is better, the water cooler model or the ice model?  Dangers of electrocution with water model when reaching in??

The WD-5 you pointed out is air cooled.
Ice coolers are a hassle to fill and drain.
Water circulating coolers won't electrocute anyone but as with ice,
they are also a pain in the censored

It is nice looking and I really like the size of it.  If you are serious about getting it, I would ask the seller to send you some more pics of all sides and of the inside.

It resembles the WD-50, but I believe that has an external cap catcher?

It looks like a Westinghouse Brand.

It is definately a Westinghouse WD-5. I can tell by the BO Bezel and the lack of embossed "Ice Cold" on the bottom front. The Cavalier 3-case had that embossment.
The real question is whether it is complete and cools! $500 is a good price!

Thanks for confirming I just checked my manuals, and I would say by the pictures it's a WD-5, is what I meant, darn you auto correct.

I paid 300 for the WD-10.

Anybody had any experience restoring the WD-10 with the 28-Z tub gasket via Funtroincs?  I have a sample piece, and I really can figure out how it supposed to be positioned.

PM me if you can help

Assuming the WD5 has a compressor, I'd say this one is not complete, especially since he told me it was just an icebox.  I have a feeling that these guys have no idea what they have and are passing it off as something it isn't....ignorantly.
