I bought this in early June. It' s a Vendo 110. The owner had it for 34 years, it came with everything, and works, and cools great. Before he owned it was inside a fire department in Seattle, WA. The owner stated he had it inside the entire time it was used. The only issue I had with it from the get go was the coin mech. At one point somebody and altered it to work on .25 cents. I could never get it work on with any money. I had a friend of mine convert it to free play. I think this think has a one of kind paint job.... Paid $500.00 for it. It would of been a 12 hour drive but I had a friend down in the area. So I had it delivered to my house for the price of the gas one way. Can't beat that!

So Jim on the subject... why do I get the feeling that the V-110 is not very desirable? There was another thread going on this subject early in the week. " Value of a 110"

A lot of collectors/people think that the 110 is too big of a machine. I personally don't think it's a terrible size. It's not terribly tall, can vend a good amount of beverage as well as bottle sizes but still retains the round top look of sorts.
Just my two cents.

I love the 110's. Great machines and still affordable.
By the way. I like the Hamm's theme on this one. I'm not sure I would change it.

If it were a generic machine, then I'd be more accepting of the theme; however, seeing the embossed Coca Cola logo peeking through ruins it for me. IMO - Take it back to it's former glory! I'd get some pics and measurements of the Hamm's decals - would make a great theme machine (from a generic though)!

The 110 is my next conquest! I also think that they get a bad rap for being too big.... I have a Cav.51 and its shorter and narower than that machine.... just the 110 is wider.... so what? Would I leave the wife if she got wider?

I didn't notice the embossing showing through. Still a great find and it will look good restored to its original condition.

Maybe she read that and now he can't answer! Watch the papers in his area for a soda machine sale now.

I think I will restore this one back to it's former glory. I was surprised after reading many threads that 110 owners have had issues with the door sagging. Fortunately mine is good so far.
There is a big dent on the back on the exterior and I believe the best and only good method is pulling the cabinet out unless I took it to a body shop and they used dent puller?
The Hamms Theme is actually all hand painted, they are not decals. On the back of the machine the Hamms bear is the length, and width off the machine, full size. I just read a article lately that said that some of the older beer companies like Hamms, Rainier, and Olympia are struggling to continue to support brewing to do so many micro brewwa, etc. I'm from WA, so I hope they can contiune to brew it. If not I don't know what the heck are Bee League hockey team would drink?

Would love to see a back photo of the Hamms Bear Graphic.. was it hand painted as well.
it's almost too bad to remove all of this cool hand painting,, Hamm's Beer if you are unaware is a Minnesota Brewery... was really big in the 70's .. famous for the Hamm's Bear and the Jingle "From the land of Sky Blue Waters"... aslso famous for the great advertising peices they made in the 70's . alot of 3d animated moving signs, and the famous Flowing Waters Signs...
not to hyjack the thread but Hamm's has also been on of the things I have collected over the years as well.. .I at one time about 6 years ago , had EVERY Motion Sign that they had made in my collection... but then moved and needed wall space and alot of it found new homes...
