I stubled on this on Craigslist. Thought it was pretty cool... http://lascruces.en.craigslist.org/atq/2585460314.html . What are these worth? Any thoughts. Not near me, but cool.

Nice dispenser! Vintage early 1960's.
Chances of it being new and unused are slim and none, missing the drain grate and showing some rust in the upper left corner of the merchandiser caused from dumping ice in the bin.
Alot of these units had a split handle for dispensing plain or carbonated water. You will find the same feature on today's dispensers although it's usually a separate handle or push button.
I would guess a more realistic value of around $150-200.
I would love to browse thru that shop and check out his other cool stuff.

I noticed the rust in the top corner. I didn't reall agree with his assesment on the machine. I do like the dispensers though. Thanks guys. I would much rather spend $150.

Anyone know what the black box is to the right of the dispenser? Thanks, Creighton

For the dispenser experts out there...what do you think about this one? Looks to be in excellent condition. Is it worth the money or too high on price? Just curious. Thanks. http://lascruces.en.craigslist.org/atq/2585460314.html

I'm just guessing, but I think most people would pay $175-$200...I wouldn't do more than $150 because you really won't use it...it's just a decoration.

It is pretty cool looking though, isn't it? I'd never really looked at these things before as it seems you'd really have to put them inside the house somewhere, unlike a Coke machine that can sit in the garage. If I came across one of those really old ones though, I may find myself owning a dispenser!!

Same dispenser as in this thread earlier... I'd merge them ( the discussions on the same dispenser) but I dont have the permissions... http://soda-machines.com/discussions/index.php/topic,13675.0.html

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.
