Other than "poorly done", I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Truly a tribute, or trying to cash in?

That's nothing more than cashing in... Its outragous. The least he could have done would be donate a large portion of it to charity.

I hope it doesn't sell..

Tasteless.

He has some other coolers for sale too. They look spray bombed, and not well. I agree though, it seems like trying to profit on tragedy.

And oh,  the 10 year mark is approaching. I'm sad someone would cash in, amused   people believe a decal or two and a can of Krylon spray paint is all it takes to "restore and remember"

Drave I agee one hundred percent, scum bag just trying to cash in.  It may be a blessing him not posting that he is going to donate all or part of the proceeds.  as there is no way of verifying if he did.

Concur!!!  If it were to be a tribute, it could be much nicer than a few block letters and a date.  Sad.

Look at this "restoration" from the same guy. This is awful! First off trying to pass of vinyl decals as original is bad but this is just terrible. Why would you put this much writing on the side of a cooler. Anyway those letter will never stay in place and he says that it is clear-coated to ensure it lasts another 60 years. This guy has some problems with stickers. I hope I don't step on anyone's toes here but the stickers look like they came from a scrap booking shop. Looks like he raided his wife's scrap booking drawer.

The poor person that paid $350 for a generic cooler spray painted orange with orange crush stickers on it. Its not worth $50. What a scum bag.

Wow... even the lid looks like it has the old red paint still showing on the bottom and looks like
orange over spray in the bottom of the cooler... sad

Well, here's my take on this cooler. Being a firefighter here in Indiana, we all must never forget what happened on that tragic day 10 years ago. The loss of life was overwhelming and left me with a sick feeling in my stomach for weeks. As we approach the 10 year anniversary of the worst event in our nations history, we all must understand that life is precious and can be taken away at a moments notice. I don't know what this sellers intention is with this cooler but let's not judge someone from an ad on e-bay. Maybe eng. 23 carried this cooler on runs or maybe the person who owned this cooler perished on that awful day. Whatever the reason, let's be nice to each other and treat them as we would like to be treated. I've always loved these old coolers.... maybe because they're fire engine red!

I agree with you. There is no problem making the cooler at all. The problem is making the cooler and then selling it on ebay. If it had significance to the event I am 100% sure it would be in the add. This guy is taking junk coolers and spray painting them and adding stickers to hopefully get $400+ out of them. If he has a sopt in his heart for 911 and wanted to make the cooler to love and enjoy and be his own tribute I think that is honorable and patriotic but doing it to make money on along with his other fake coolers is just wrong.

$351 !   Quote:  P. T. Barnum "There's a sucker born every minute"

Also,  it would be allot easier to take if he said 50% of the winning bid  will go to the families of the Hero's that lost their life's!
