Just found this website. I have a Vendo 125 machine in my Dad's barn.  We unplugged it about a year ago. At that time, it kept drinks ICE COLD.  However, the coin mechanism doesn't work well & many of the buttons  aren't working either. Nor are the lights.

I'd like to put it into service at my new water garden nursery. Is it worth cleaning up & where would I buy the coin mechanism? It says it takes one of the following mechanisms: 97AA24, 97AR24, 91E8301B, or 97E9303B.

Any advice for someone who has no knowledge of vending machines?

Thanks.....John

If you have the old mech, you might try just a good cleaning. Use blue shower or some other cleaner that will not melt the plastic parts. Relube and it might be fine.
I replaced the neon with simple night lites as replacement was not available.
Oh yes, if changer is erattic at times, check the plug in harness bottem left for intermittants. This might also be the source of your button problems as this junction is prone to get green contacts.
