Chris,

I'm an MAC(SW). In a former life, I was a Sonar Technician (Surface) and did all my time on OHP Class Frigate's.

Speaking of P-3's, I grew up right next to NAS Moffet in Sunnyvale, CA which among other things, used to be a HUGE P-3C base. We lived right in the flight pattern so as a kid I had the sound of those (4) turboprops ingrained into my brain.

18 years later when I joined the Navy I had the opportunity to work with P-3C's as a shipboard Sonar Tech while searching for and prosecuting ASW threats.

Flash forward 10 years and I found myself working on Signal Processors aboard P-3C's as a NAVSEA civilian Technical Rep.

Funny how some things stay so constant in your life.....Even if it is just an aircraft!!!!!
