This is a problem with my Vendorlator 192. I rewired it for free play according to the sticky here. Worked great but now (for lack of a better description) the relay doesn't latch or hold? When I trip the momentary switch you could hear the relay click in and hold. Now it clicks in and back out with no vend. Holding the switch and pressing a selection dumps about 3 or 4 cans so that's not good. I did check my connections and cleaned them but no help.

Is the relay the problem or is there a way around this?

This is just an idea but maybe there is a switch at the can door that has gone bad? I know on my vendorlator 165 there is a switch above the flap that tells the machine a can has come out. I wonder if it is stuck and telling the machine that a can was dispensed before you get to make a selection.

Yep, sounds like the delivery switch hasn't triggered, so the hold-relay won't latch

Will have to take a look. So the relay latches, the can trips the delivery switch and releases the relay right? So stuck delivery switch sounds right.

The wiring diagram on the door is still intact so will run through it. Have to get dinner started right now so will see if the wife lets me play with it while the turkey cooks.  glare

Unless I'm missing something I don't see a delivery switch anywhere. The cans drop out of the rack when the solenoid fires, down into the chute and out. There's no switch or anything past the can rack.

A Vendo V192/6 has 6 individual delivery switches located at the bottom of each columns delivery gate rocker, the "Sold-Out" switch(es) is/are located further up the columns channel & is in plain view as you look into it ( minus any cans of course)

Also note on this style vending rack, that each & every column MUST have a minimum of about two cans in it. even though this number of cans won't reach the Sold-Out switch, the reason being is the weight of the two cans keeps the vending gates delivery switch held Closed, other wise the machine will think it hasn't completed the vend cycle & it won't reset ( or allow) the vending credit relay to latch "closed" & it will also disable the coinmech ( if so equipped) to accept any coins by de-energizing the CREMS, ( CREMS= Coin-Return-ElectroMagnetS.

Well this is interesting. I pulled all the cans out of one track and there's only one switch I can see. Actuating it does turn the SOLD OUT light on and off and it's right at the end of the track. Could this single switch monitor sold out and delivery?

I need a manual for this thing.
