I found a light up sign that is local. I have a customer that is looking for a light up sign like this. Is there any way to get the beauty shop writing off to put something else on? i was just thinking the writing would be faded into the plastic. Any ideas?

I'd say go with some paint remover first, test it to see if it affects the plastic, but either way you may end up buffing or sanding the plastic a bit to get it all off.. and then use finer grit to get smooth again, and then buff..

Just an idea,

Be careful with the paint remover. It will eat plastic. Maybe mineral spirits or paint thinner. If it has been out in the sun may never get all of it off.

Why not just make a new sign to the customers needs?

I've got a vendo 154 with the light up sign.
the paint is cracking on it.
How do you go about touching it up or repainting?
is there a special paint thats used so the light will shine through?
