I would be a little concerned about the low feedback number for the Seller but I think I have seen other machines listed out of Whitehall, OH before.

It is very hard to tell with that picture--and is that picture the actual machine?  I would want to see more pictures of inside and out before pulling the trigger on a $1500 BIN.  Nice looking machine if it is legit though!

the person who says he'd have to restore it is known to us here as his Ebay ID Sleep Walk.
The way Ebay has changed  fling disputes, I'd make a run
If there is an issue, file a claim.

Sooooo...the seller is saying that even though there is not a reserve, if the bids are less than $1500 he won't honor the winning bid because he has a friend who is willing to buy it?

I had a problem like that before...the ebayer will and can cancel your bid....they can claim damaged was discovered and decided NOT to sell it!
ebay told me he could legally by their policy do that!
sucks but thats the chances you take!

I agree that is B.S., that the seller can cancel the auction for bogus reasons. They will try and save money by not making it a reserve auction. Then if it doesn't reach the amount they want they will say it is no longer available, or it was damaged.
