The white buttons and the two fishtail sign came out a warehouse in KY, I bought them as a lot from a friend. The 36" red buttons came out a coke bottling plant in LA. My grandfather was a good friend of the man who owned the plant. I use to go into the plant with them when I was a kid in late 70's and early 80's. The man died in the late 80's and his wife closed the bottling plant. I went by to see her one day in 1996. I asked her what was in the old plant and she said nothing, but I could go and take a look. Word of advice here....ALWAYS GO TAKE A LOOK!! I walked the whole thing -inside and out and nothing. I was about to leave when I saw an opening in the ceiling. I had to go home and get a ladder. When I got into the attic, I found 10 flange signs right away. I have sold all but one over the years. I went to the back of the attic and there were the two red 36" buttons. They were just sitting there covered in dust. They had been uncrated, but never used. They all look great. You don’t see them in this great of condition everyday. You all should start bidding!!

You hit the mother load! That is the kind of score that most only dream about. I would love to have one of those sled fishtail signs!

Great find ! ! !
I'm not sure aluminum was used for the buttons in the 1950's though... I thought these were all made from steel...

Your auction seems to be doing very well...
I was just wondering about the idea of advertising the fact that you have lots more. It might put off potential bids if they think you are going to contiune to list. As a seller you'd be looking for a bidding war. You can then always go back and sell another to the second bidder.
If I wanted one and I knew you had a shed load I'd be tempted to hold off for a while until the others get listed and the price lowers..
Just an observation and as I say you seem to be doing very well...
