Thinking about going to Hershey this year. Never have been. Is it worth it?

Hershey Park is pretty cool. Their is a tour of the factory, rides and other things to do. I don't know how people spend more than a day or 2 though at the park. There are a few other things in the area as well depending on the company you will be with.

Is there a show? When? I tried to search it and didn't come up with anything.

Yea, huge show in Hershey, PA. Starts Oct 3-10th I think. Car parts, soda, jukebox, etc. I guess it take days to see everything.

I'm really surprised they hold that about the same time as the Carlisle Fall Meet, http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/events/fall-carlisle/

Although, they are pretty close together, so it might be good to hit both at the same time.  I was thinking of heading up to Carlisle that weekend.

Maybe we'll go. We aren't too far from Hershey and we are looking for a Mustang. Wouldn't mind going through the car corral.

I always wanted to go but I can never seem to break away from all of my responsibilities on the home front and / or at work.

I hope those who can go do go.

Hershey is a great show but about two to three times the size of Carlisle and it's free to get in and $10 parking across the street. First class show with no dirt all on blacktop with no hills. Steve Ebner and I have spaces there stop buy and say hi RWA 26/27 and we are at Carlisle next week in spaces I-20/21. Carlisle starts next Wed.-Sun and Hershey starts the next week, Wed.-Sat

Curtis 301-991-3532 See ya at the show!

Curtis, how are the shows on the weekend vs. the weekdays? I guess we are about 2 hours away. My initial thought was to go up during one of the early days, but it isn't as easy to get away from work in the middle of the week.

Carlisle and Hershey is just as good on Sat. as it is on Thurs. a few more people on Sat. You can rent a golf cart at Hershey which would be nice as it's so big. I think Steve said it was $100.00 a day but split with a buddy it would be worth it. I enjoy the Hershey show most of all. It's so clean and no hills, so much to look at. You know as I think back, Hershey is very light on Sat. because thats the last day and everyone starts packing up after lunch. I would try for Friday if your going to Hershey but Carlisle is still packed on Sat. Lots of people.

We went up on Friday. The show is HUGE! We got up there just before noon and walked for 5 hours and didn't come close to seeing it all. I was surprised that a good number of people started packing it up and the crowds really started to thin out between 3 and 4pm. If we go again next year we'll probably go earlier.

Is there another show in Carlisle is the spring? Hershey is only in the fall, correct?

Spring Carlisle will be the next close show and there is only a fall Hershey. Steve and I did great at Carlisle and Hershey, very pleased. Sales were good and made some good buys early.
