Compressor not starting

I just got a 1964-66 coke can machine and it just just cycles
over and over do I need a new compressor or starter relay
or what?  thanks!

Hey Elvis,

When you say "cycling" over and over, is the compressor trying to start and you hear a "click" about every 5 or 10 seconds? If so, that's the overload kicking out. You may try a 3 in 1 start capacitor. I think you can get one at W W Granger. Try that. If the unit still won't start, the compressor is probably shot.  The other thing is check to make sure that all the wiring is good and tight. Good luck! Post back.
