What do you guys make of this... It's a counter top ice cooler,, measures about 3feet long 18 wide and 18 tall, Logos are not embossed, just screened on, but still very nice.. I have a customer looking to get it restored, but Personally I don't think he should redo it? rather make new panels for it if he really wants to, and keep the original? but it's his to decide. he was wondering on value, and I really haven't seen another? any clues?

Leave as-is for sure! Nice piece - never seen one before. I'd say comparable in value to a nice Glascock counter cooler, but just a guess!

Very Cool. A buddy and I found one of these while "picking" in Indiana. It is exactly like that but it has an ice cream theme to it. Haven't been able to find anything like it. Glad you posted this.

Nice condition. Maybe you should use the dimensions to build a brand new one, tell him his is restored and keep this one for yourself

Get a cleaner to remove the rust stains and possibly the spray paint, wax it and leave as is...OR following MoonDawgs advice!

Sounds like what he wants is a new, exact reproduction of an original! You would ruin the value and character of that piece if restored, and I'm with the others...it doesn't need anything but a cleaning!!
I'd be looking into how hard it would be to reproduce...

I'd have the graphics repro'd & fabricated a new cooler, being this ones in such nice shape, I wouldn't touch it, it would ruin the value of such a unique cooler.

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

It's amazing that it survived that long and in that condition! Did he have any story to go along with his find? I also vote to leave as is.Just shine it up.
