Sorry Tom, I will have agree with Jim It looks like it was put on and meant not to
come off, So pry baby pry .

Well I got them off!
Good idea Chris - I looked a bit, but I could never associate a pic of the clip that each tool was designed to work with.
Tough little buggers they are - only 3 of the 8 clips let go and the rest I had to pry the rivet out. Moulding suffered minor damage - nothing bad!
Easy enough to re-shape the clips for re-installation.
The machine is completely broken down now.
The fun begins!
