Cool! Looks like somebody scavenged an emblem or something off the front of each one. Bet there was an RC81 inside!  biggrin Oo

That's funny as I have that same image on my Desktop computer,, I got it off of a post on Old Gas a few months ago? Suprised those pumps are still there? The Grass is longer in my photo, but wow, very cool
The pumps are both bennett 541 with the 4 ad glass tops.. very cool pump, I got one last summer and restoring this spring for out front of the shop..

What is that wire going between the pumps for? Is that something to light up the pumps or something like that?

I've no idea and really didn't notice as I was just too fascinated about seeing this old garage and its gas pumps.

I'm suprised too that these are still there ,as I have seen photos taken at two different intervals, and the first time it was posted was from some Old Gassers.. figured they would have been all over that.. but just like alot of things.. they just might not be for sale, and probably guarded by an ol lady with a shotgun living across the street or a very intimidating dog?

as far as the wire, yes originally these pumps were wired for lights, but looks like it was jimmy rigged , cause I'm not electrical inspector, but dont think that is up to code? biggrin
