Anyone ever seen a machine like this. It is local to me. I would not be interested in keeping it but the price is low and I thought it may be something to paint and turn. Anyone know anything about this? They say it hangs on the wall. They are asking $100. How old do you think it is? Is it worth putting the effort into?

Pretty cool looking and probably would look nice with a fresh coat of paint.  Never seen one like that but if you can find out what the vend price is that should help you with determining the age.

Leonard,

Are you going for it? I may if you don't but I really don't care. I honestly don't want it but it does look cool. I was thinking it would look good as sell well in a Harley theme like the one recently posted here by poptop.

Everyone,

Here are pics of the inside. Will it vend candy or just ciggy's. What do you all think? Its made by Fawn and is priced at $0.35 per pack. They say it is 1940's.

7 pulls......sure looks heavy to mount on a wall, kinda' deep too. Maybe it would look better on a stand but those square corners don't give it much style.

         Just my 2 cents

     Second Attempt

  Hi, Everyone  smile

As you Review this Post You'll See the Orging Picture Of the Cigarette Machine That I passed On .Well I got a Call A couple Weeks later from the owner ?I said I taught this was Sold ? His Reply was The Offer He received Was to Low At that Time .But With No other Offer After that He Had Found My Number On the Caller Id & Called Me .Asked IF I was Willing To match the Last Offer -Done Deal ! He Would Meet Me at Lunch . Well As we Met He Informed Me that while he was loading it The Glass sliped out & hit the Groung &Broke > So he Offered it to me for $45 Bucks Or I could Walk Away from the Deal .Nope !! I took the Deal .

While Stripping It Down I saw A Full Size Unit (11 pull ) For Sale In Texas .I contacted the Guy because his had Direction's on the Coin Setting .So For $9 including Shipping He Copied them for Me 5 Pages.

Mine Is a Wall Unit ! But I guess It could Have had A stand Also Huh?

Also I noticed one Day at Wok The Parts Lady Was Sending Some Brass Parts Out & I asked What For ? Her Reply Was Plateing  tounge I said I had A few Pices & Would Pay .She Said No Worries the Price was For 10 Peices Or 40 Peices  So FREE FOR ME !!!

So Total Cost   Machine $45   Bead Blasting -Free !  Plateing Free !  2 Cans Hammertone 1 silver 1 Lt Blue $12  1 Pc 1/4 in Glass $4.50   $61.50       And the Grand Kids Are Happy !!!   Well Worth It !!!!

Very nice job.  The machine looks new.

The candy cigs and gum fit in nicely.  Get the gum cigarettes, let the kids roll them in their hands, and then blow out the smoke.  Great fun for the entire family, and it doesn't cause cancer.  My kids had a blast with them, and they never picked up smoking.

Groovy candy is where I usually buy my stuff from.  I have found places that were cheaper, but the product wasn't as fresh.
