Interesting, but $1K is too much for a V110 in my opinion.

VMC-110's are a little more uncommon than the V110. Walter's 3rd gives the Pepsi 110 a $1150 value in avg. condition - interesting that the book pictures a small door 110 listed as the VMC-110 and I do not see the VMC dimple in the picture. I thought all VMC-110's were LD models.
Anyway - I think $1000 is a tad high in the current economic climate. But if it were complete, cooled, local and could be picked up without much expense - I'd go with $700-$800 in hand.

EDIT- I just looked at the ad - he has $1500 OBO in the description and $1000 in the title. Also - if the Price Decal is correct, it is not a change-giver mech inside which would bring the value down some IMO.

Yes, much more rare indeed! biggrin
The guy emailed me saying it's still available and to make an offer, I am not interested in it so thought I'd pass it along, maybe someone can get a good deal on it.

I bet if you open the door, you'll see a nice blue strip all along the inside of the door-jab,

I'll give him the benefit of a doubt & assume he's not aware of black & white film and only has ever seen a color T.V. set.  biggrin     reminds me of when my then 6-year old son saw an early movie on T.V.  ( in Black & White )  & thought the set was broken!  laugh
