I'm looking for the 2-door version.  I found one near here that I'm working on getting.  It's unique in that it not only has 2 doors, but also has 2 motors on top!  Never seen that version before, and it's factory.  I'll let y'all know if I get it, and will post pictures.

Yea, I'll PayPal you shortly.  Tried to fix mine this holiday break and can't make it look respectable.

Thanks!

Creighton, nice refrigerator, but to far from Michigan.

Greg, hope you get the two door Monitor top, I've been looking for one a long time.

A couple of years ago go I had a chance to buy a commercial wood cooler, all the frame work & door frames were oak and the glass inserts were the originals that had the wavy glass with some air bubbles, it still cooled. It was a good size cooler about 8' wide and 6' high with eight doors. The guy was just going to throw it in the dumpster until he found out that I wanted it and put a ridiculous price on it.

isn't that the way it goes once you show some interest in something all of a sudden it is made of gold. Bet he got $0 for the fridge and ending up tossing it

Hey Matt,

The price on these fridges, like everything else, is all over the place!  I see them pretty often around here, unrestored but working and in good condition, for $300-$600.  I've seen them as low as $50 for non-working ones needing a paint job, and as high as $3000 unrestored from the idiots who think they crap gold!

A fully restored unit may sell for upwards of $1500-$3000, but that is a top notch restoration.  There are always a few for sale, because they are still very plentiful if you look around, so they aren't anything rare or super-valuable.

Hope that helps, and it's just my observations from watching them for several years.

I was at an auction a little while back and they sold one of these for $13 and it still ran great. I would have bought it but I have no room at home and my dorm room all ready came with a refrigerator. They are really neat though.
