I dunno, maybe I've been outta the loop for too long but this Victor on Ebay is a steal! I don't know the seller so I'm not a shill trying to jack the price or anything but come on, these things used to go for a G note all day in Chicago years ago un-restored.

Am I missing something?

I have a call into the guy.  Watching and may make a run at it.  Does anyone have an estimate on what NAVL would charge to ship a machine of this size ATL to Detroit?

Thanks!

Tim, NAVL can  give you a better guesstimate, it's a combination of weight and  zones.  Got a quote from them to  move a 260 pound  juke chicago to Detroit for 270.   But Petosky is  considered "remote" so a 200 lb Seeburg C from there to Detroit is 387

Tim , You can do what the guy did when he bought my Dr Pepper machine  Flew up to Cleveland and rented a mini van and drove the rest of the way here and was driving back with it in the back of that van
and he drove straight through.  Or you can drive straight  down and try and drive back the same day or close to it.

if possible use Forward air or try Uship where you get movers to bid on your shipment. I have used both and they always seem affordable

I think you hit the nail on the head... "USED TO".. prices have dropped not only in Chicago, but everywhere... So many people holding onto the might dollar, and also collectors not buying the big stuff as much... unless they have room I guess.. I would love to have one made into a bar.. just no room or way to get it down in my gameroom..  oh well. someone will get a good deal, Good luck Tim!!!

Good luck Tim. Go get it for that price. I'm going for the 2 door Victor currently. I've always had a soft spot for them

Well, roughly $480 for NAVL to pick it up and bring it to MI.  wow I will let you know in a few hours if a Victor is coming to a location in Michigan soon!

I was in and now I am out!  Just as I posted my first bid another bidder jumped in as well.  I bid up to and even past my limit and was still outbid.  I sure wish this was in Michigan!  down  Because I would go a lot higher.  But the shipping plus his $125.00 to wrap and pallet puts it over my limit and I know where I can get a decent unembossed 4 door for that kind of money.  Anyway, the seller will be happy that I got his sales price a bit higher.

I did speak with the seller and he said that the unit works and is embossed!  It was hard to tell from the photos if it was embossed or not.  The bid is currently at $511.15 so it is still a good deal for somebody local.  I know another one will show up and frankly I really would have had a hard time finding space in the garage for this right now anyway!

That sucks Tim!!!! There's no way anyone could not pick it up for you? I have a member on here picking up a 33-3D in Georgia for me amd I pick it up in a month. Bid on a few others and make a wek's holiday driving south where it's warm and pick them all up.
 That's still a good price. I would've bid but I noticed a 2 door

Well, it went for a bit more than my fun budget would have allowed ($1,622.82) even without the shipping.  Thanks for the offer on the pick-up CC.  The hunt continues!

Just so you know guys if you ever need help in Atlanta, I have plenty of room in my garage to hold it for you. Let me know if you find another one, and I will be glad to help! Good luck

If it had been a regular machine I would have taken you or CC up on that but a Victor 3 Door is not exactly an easy machine to move and not something that you can hide in the corner.

I am sure another one will turn up closer to home but thanks for the offer!
