I live in Fort Lauderdale, Fl and have owned a Coke Machine Model CAV-893 for 20 years with no problems. Recently, the machine started having a burnted smell (wire/electrical problem). Does anyone know who I can contact to assist in a repair?

Thanks Guys

Hey Mike,

I'm in Lauderdale on a regular basis and can contact you after the Thanksgiving holiday...
Has anything stopped functioning on the machine...? (ie Cooling, lighting, coins do not work now, etc, etc...)

My six cents,

Jim,
The machine seems to work fine except for a large whining sound and a small burning smell. It was very cold inside and the outside handles were very hot to touch.

You might have two problems there. Could be the balast on the light causing the burnt smell and the heat. The whining is likely a fan motor.

My uneducated guess anyway!

Call the local Coca Cola bottler/distributor and see if one of their service techs might take a peek on their off-time - just an idea! Poeple like a little extra cash nowadays.
