Saw this posting and was wondering if this is legit?  I have never seen a Victor in anything but Coca Cola.  If legit, what other brands were made?

Either way it seems a bit pricey!  I went out to see a Coke C-45 locally onFriday.  It appeared to be complete and in good shape but it was priced high for being non-embossed.  I will eventually have an embossed 3 door or 4 door for my bar!

I thought Victor only made CC coolers as well...
Restored, but not with working refrigeration, huh...? I guess they're passing the cost on to the new buyer...

Sounds like a paint job only and not a restoration. And I don't care too much for the refer to my pictures for details attitude. Pictures show little to nothing of the true condition of the item. Hidden rust and sub par paint always fails to appear in the photos.

And after getting burned a couple of times, I really pay close attention to attitudes.

I would let him keep his restored but doesn't really work Victor for a while longer and I would find one close by and restore it myself or have it restored. That way I know it works and the paint won't start to blister due to untreated rust a year after it is bought.

There are 3-door 7UP Victors out there...ask Moondawg!
The guy I bought all my mechs from in CA had one. I did not get to see it personally as he had sold it, but Glen saw it.
Speaking of Victors...anybody see this 2-door on eBay?

I used to have a 3 door Victor, it was original. I have never seen one with 4 doors though.

The Victor C-45 (4-door) is listed in the SMC Soda Machine section.

That unit weighs about 800lbs but I would suspect that you could get it shipped for quite a bit less than $1,200.

Yeah, I have seen the 3 door in California also. He sold it a few years ago. Don't know what he sold it for but I do remember it was big bucks. Oh, forgot, everything was big bucks a few years ago. How can someone be selling a $4,000 machine but says it needs $150 in work. I never understood that.
