I know some people like these styles and not a bad price for a clean original..

I saw that the other day and was thinking about going to check it out later this week.  Is that a fair price?  From his post it sounds like it needs to be re-wired--is that a difficult task?

Not sure what it takes to rewires/ could just be a broken plug in or if the heater is bad, yes that would be a different story and not worth it..
I just thought it was a nicer looking original..

I thought the heater was nothing more than a light bulb?

from my understanding, they do have a heating element at the base of the bowl.

This is another machine I've always fancied... They look great restored.. Am I right in saying they are just heaters rather than the other popcorn machines people get excited about??

Don't think one of these will turn up this side of the world... Popcorn isn't as ingrained in our culture as it is in yours..

I contacted the seller and he says that after he looked it over for another prospective buyer that it is in working order.  A guy was supposed to pick it up last night and did not show.  I am waiting to hear from him as he also told the guy he could stop buy this AM.  If he doesn't show--I may just have myself a new popcorn dispenser on Friday! hopefull

Does anyone have a manual for one of these machines or can you tell me what to look over when I go to play lets make a deal?  The price seems right and the guy said that he used to use it but it has basically been on display for the last few years.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I was at Walmart this morning at 5:30. I think if they were giving away 81's I wouldn't do that again. I'm in a pretty small town, and didn't expect the store to be that busy. I think they bussed people in from other states.

I'm goiong to the barn on Monday to look for parts for a 35 for a member on here and I had 12 of these popcorn machines that I bought as a package deal. Many are incomplete as I've sold parts over the years. I'll take pics of them as well.

I have one and may need some inside parts. Really never looked close, but was told it was missing some parts.
