Probably one of the hardest machines to restore... not only is it tarred in, it is probably tack welded in as well..
If your redoing the refridgeration, or if it doesn't work, not too big of a deal just to cut the line.. but if it works and you don't want to mess with it, ,it is not easy.
I'm sure others will chime in as others have restroed them as well

Its a mess to do but just slide your hand down the liner and gently pry behind the tack welds with a putty knife ,it won't take much to pop them off just solder. I detared mine and used aluminum tape to hold the lines to the liner when you put it back together . Let me know if you need any help or suggestions .

When I pulled my apart I left the lines attached the lines unscrewed from the pump
later on we had to replace the pump because it gave up the ghost after 10 minutes.

Yea if your going to recharge the system anyway . then it makes easy removal of the liner with the lines undone from the compressor. Just get a buddy to help guild the lines up and out . Then you can easily fine the solder weld and pry them apart . And then clean and paint the liner . Then us aluminum tape to reatatch them .
