Interesting Older Popcorn Machine

Went out to dinner with some friends last night and while we were waiting in the bar to be seated I saw this old popcorn machine sitting in the corner.  I have seen a lot of discussion and pics of popcorn machines on this site, but I have not seen one like this.  Unfortunately, the bar was really dark and the only camera I had was on my phone - so no flash.  I took a pic anyway and brightened it on the computer but it looks awful.  The name on the machine was Hawkeye and the bartender said he thought it was functional but he didn't seem very convincing.  Anyone recognize this?

INteresting... I had to read the front sign a few times.. it says POPT CORN?// either a play on words or their graphics guy was hitting the bottle hard that day?

Havent' seen it,, hard to tell if it's just a popcorn warmer or a poppper?
