Anyone ever seen one of these or know what it is? I've asked the owner to see what it is, but I thought I'd post it here for others to see and ponder with me! Greg

Don't know yet...waiting for a response from the owner. Looks a lot like the graphics on the Ideal 55, etc. coolers where the Pepsi part is embossed and the other wording isn't.

Looks a lot like the graphics on the Ideal 55 Funny you say that Greg because my first guess would be an Ideal model of some sort... But, I'm not sure on this, just a hunch... Is it complete...?

it's an early ideal 300 series or something like that, it doesn't hold as much as you might think, it has only 3 selections to offer behind that mammoth bottle door.

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Glen wins! Consulted my book when I finally got home last night...looks like it's an Ideal 400B. Still don't know if it's embossed, but it's a good looking machine. The book says it's very rare, but also very low on anyone's want list. Too bad it's so heavy and big!! I hate to see something so uncommon just waste away because of its size...I have Glen helping move it, who else? Keep looking.......

Crazy...just heard from this seller again this weekend after a few weeks...it's definitely an Ideal 400B, very rare, 73 1/2 inches tall, 38 inches across, and 23 inches deep. It is indeed embossed just like an Ideal 55 with the Pepsi logo and circle. The "Drink" and "Ice cold" are painted/decals. Supposed to work and be complete. He wants $200. Anyone interested? It's in Sacramento, CA. I think my parents would kill me if I sent them down there to grab this for me (if it didn't kill them first!). This would be a killer looking machine, and you would be the only one on the board with one, but you would never be able to move it again!

Hey Greg,
Do you think you could acquire a better photo for use in the Soda Machines Section...? This would make a great addition since these don't come up very often... Maybe they could take another picture slightly off to one side a little while keeping the complete machine in the photo...
