The earlier versions were open below the cooling compartment; where as the later models, like the one pictured, had enclosed sides. The early models utilized the same cap catcher as the Westinghouse Junior Model. When the Standard Model went to an enclosed bottom, they changed the cap catcher as well, which also could be considered as an enclosed cap catcher. During the later years of production, the cooler lids were embossed with the Coca-Cola logo. The Standard Model has been seen with Vendo coin-operated tops attached to convert these coolers to vendors. These coolers can still be found in good condition for a reasonable price. | |
