Can you guys help me out with this one?  Assuming it is complete is it worth 500 asking or 350 what I want to offer the guy? Sorry this is the only pic I have, I have already asked the seller for more.

I'm not very good with prices but if its complete inside the drum alone I've seen go for more than $300 on Ebay....

Its missing the coin door, Does he have it?? If its 100% complete $500.00 is fair if its not go down from there. Your offer is very fair.

I picked-up two Vendo 39s in the past eight months. When purchasing I considered the over all condition, Rust being a major factor. Does it work, another important factor to me. And is it complete, that missing door could cost you another one hundred dollars. The last V-39 I bought I paid $750.00 for (Kind of high for a machine that still needs restoration), but it was complete, worked, and close to home. I saved money by not having to pay for shiping.
I could have bought a nicely restored one for $3000 which is something worth factoring in, especially if you farm out the work. I don't, I love working on these neat old machines, so I save a lot on labor.

If this machine was close and fairly complete, I would pay up to $400 right now, just for the parts. But it would need to have the drum and the coin mech should work at that price.

I hope this helps. but remember, it's only one mans opinion.

Good luck

There will be another... over 81,000 of these 39's where made... the pop up all the time and you should be able to find one at a decent price.

but like RC Kid said,.. consider what your going to do with it.. if you want one already done and ready to go , spend a little more unless you can do the restoration yourself..

Good luck!

I've owned 5-6 V-39's - paid up to $750 for one, but most were acquired for $300-$500 complete.

There will be another one!
