Ok guys and gals Just a reminder I need photo's  for the 2009 Calander.

here is some helpful things for taking a photo of you machine .

May I make a few suggestions strictly on behalf of our visitors. This will result in a better displaying image for our visitors on the Web Site.

Take a picture from the front of the machine/cooler but slightly to one side, just enough to see the side of the machine/cooler.  Keeping in mind to get the complete machine/cooler in the frame fully.
Try to take the photograph at a point approximately 3/4 of the height of the machine/cooler.  If your machine/cooler is about 5' tall, camera height should be around 3 1/2' - 4' from the same ground the machine/cooler is sitting on.

The only exception to this rule would be Chest Type Coolers in which case you would do as above except don't use 3/4 the height.  It would be better to take a picture from slightly above the Cooler to show the lids as well.

And as always, don't rely on flash photography.  If the machine/cooler is in doors, try to illuminate the area as best as possible to assist the flash.  Many times pictures taken with the flash alone are very dark in some areas while very light in others.  These photos are difficult to work with for display purposes on Soda-Machines.Com.

  Hope this helps.

I would like to have the calanders done by November so everyone that wants one can have it before   2009
Email me the photo's  send them to me by pony express  how ever you want lets get some good ones.

  Thanks
   Pat

I'm hoping a bigger batch of calendars will be printed up this time around. It would be nice if there were plenty for everyone to get one next year. I wasn't able to get one for 2008 as they were all out. Keep up the great work on the calendars. smile

I'm hoping to have the Nichol Kola together good enough for the calendar also I'll also take one of the GE non-electric Pepsi cooler I picked up.....
Also I will help, if you'd like, with the layout... I would like to see the entire 8.5 X 11 area filled
we would, of course, highlight the machine/cooler/dispenser and maybe have an area
of how it was found... or maybe a before and after shot, or use a manual from a soda machine
booklet of the exact model to use as a background..... I'll do a couple layouts and post them....
what do you want to make as a due date?.... how much time do we have? my cooler
is waiting for a cap catcher and the embossing needs to be lettered.
the GE cooler I will do “as found”... maybe someone who has the electrical version could take a picture of theirs...  and we could do a electric and non-electric of that model month!
And what about a month of dispensers?.....
Just some ideas....

Not that we want an all-Dr. Pepper calendar with Tom's DP-110, but I could contribute pictures of a restored DP Atlas Senior (and possibly a Junior) if we wanted to do a layout with a Junior, Standard, and Senior together on the page.  We would just need a picture of a Standard (there are a couple here that have them nicely done).  That might look pretty cool!   upside  Just a thought...

Sounds good Pat! Come on folks.. there have been a lot of finds over the past year... lets make them shine on the calendar!
Pat put a lot of work into this project last year...
Let's get so many we need to double up on months or something.... I have mine at my desk
and really enjoy telling folks who ask what it's all about I get responses from “nice” and then they back away slow to last week a guy said his father in law had a old machine and a gas pump... so I'm waiting on him to come back around hopefull
