hi,
i'm owner of a vendo v56 squaretop machine. yesterday i plugged it on and there was a strange noise (it clacks). i opened the bottle mechanism and i saw that the magnet, that locks the bottle mechanism, doesn't work and see-saw up and down (see the red arrow on the picture 2). how kann i solve this problem?

mattias - are you saying that the repeated clicking you hear is the solenoid (the part circled in your 2nd pic) moving up and down?  If it is then it may not be the solenoid.  It could be the coin mech or even the micro switch (red and black thing with blue and yellow wires in your 2nd pic)

When the vend cycle is triggered, the solenoid is energized and it mechanically move the vend lock into place.  The lock stays in place until a bottle is removed... forcing the gate roller forward which releases the lock.  Power to the solenoid is momentary not constant. 

Are you using a coin mechanism?  Do you know it is good?  Can you test the machines vend cycle with a free vend switch?

hi bryan,thanks for your reply. yes the repeated clicking is the soleniod moving up an down.
i use a NRI coin mechanism - but i don't know if it is working. i try to switch it free (all switches to "null"?)

Unplug the machine. Disconnect the coin mechanisms' black plug. Start the machine and see if it still makes the noise.

thanks for your hints - it works now; i ve disconnected the coin mechanism and then i works; afterwards i connected the coin m. and put the soliniod back and it works now with the coin m.
