I wouldn't say the cooler is worth much as they are Heavy as Hell. Hard, hard to move. Worth more in parts as the coin mech and cap catcher work on other ideals.
If the button is orignial on it ,it's the most valueable piece on it and if in good shape could be worth a few hundred bucks..
I'd say if you can get it for under 300 you can make back your money plus some on selling the parts.

I had one a few years ago, these machines are beasts to move around very heavy.  I ended up selling it for $100 with the rack, minus the cap catcher and coin mech.

What are they asking for it? Is the button an original? If the price is right I would buy it just for the button.

There asking $350 . I don't know if the button is original or not . I think I will pass unless I can get it really cheap. I will ask about the button, how do you you know if it's original, If it porcelain ?

Measure hte button, I doubt it's porcelain based on the size, looks to be a 16" button and those are almost always painted tin, and to my knowledge the repros that where made all had the bottle on them... this is just text.
send a photo and I can tell for sure.

Isn't "Drink" in the wrong location for an original button?

Not that the value would be increased, but I believe it is an Ideal 85.

The  lid hinges are why I thought it was a 300.
