So I see this on CL Spokane:

I email that I'm interested in the red cig and grey candy machine and will offer 200. Please let me know of any higher offers. Get back email that 200 is fine for both. Ok, cool when can I come pick them up. No phone or email response until today. Despite several attempts.

Sold the Stoner for 250 to someone else. Not worth a 6hr round trip for the National Cig.
Did have the satisfaction of telling the seller that I would have paid at least 700 for the Stoner. There was a long pause on the line...

There will be others, I hope.

I'm finding more and more that a number of the sellers on Craigslist have less intelligence and common sense than the item they are selling!  It's frustrating when one of the idiots out there is inevitably the one that has a great deal on an item you want and you just can't seem to make the purchase due to their ignorance of the way the system should work.  Sound about right??   darn

Sorry that happened.

I know the feeling. I had a Coke machine I wanted the guy called said be there that afternoon and when I showed up said a lady from Biloxi saw it from the hwy and made her hubby stop and buy it not more than 30 minutes after our conversation.

I havent spoken to him since, everytime I see him in town he makes a bee line somewhere else to avoid me.

Doesnt matter hubby wont let me buy any more machines or antique furniture.
