SO figured I was taking a trip down to pick up the Popperette, so checked the Madison Craigslist and Chicago Craigslists for more deals...
Ended up finding this Cavalier 72 in Madison in a Garage sale listing.. Called the guy on Friday and told him I'd take it and pick it up on Tuesday. He was kind enough to say ok, and not demand I run down and get it right away...said he'd tuck it in the back of the garage.
Nice straight and complete Cav 72, with large embossing.. obviusly will need a makeover, but hey for $400 bucks for a Cav 72... Not too bad in my Book!!!

You had a great trip!
After the other two posts, I'd say you're on a roll for sure...

Years ago, I had a similar case when I was the first to go look at a Pepsi Lite-Up (J-56) and on the way I stopped at a garage sale and bought a 60's Baseball game and a 60's pinball, both for $200 and then I bought the "56" for $1500
