Allright! I 'm able to get back in to the posting area! ( Thanks Jim) Just a quick post on a Cavalier 64 I'm in the process of reassembling ( proof that I do work on Cavaliers & occasionally a few "Coke" machines!      ). I had to modify a later model CSS64D lightup sign & frame to adapt to this earlier chassis ( it was missing ) with an inset (innie vs outtie?) maindoor, had to give the frame a 1/2" chop in height to fit the lightup opening. (Another thing to admire in Vendos parts compatability between all of the V63/V90 models)

But, all in all, this is probably one of my favorite Cavalier models, as the nice chrome coin entry bezel really adds some snap & dimension to the front door. plus I have two doner machines ( both 64D's) to help out with missing trim & such. so now on to the final install of the doors insulation, wire harness,& liner & bottle portal trim. The compressor deck is waiting in the wings to be slid back into place, as is the bottle rack & shelves.

Nice looking machine. I see a Hires cooler that looks to be next.

Just a few update photo's as the work of reassembly continues, so now the compressors' back home in it's spot, & as you can see, the wiring harness is slowly migrating back into place.

If you're curious about the aluminum strips you see along the edges of the plastic door liner, these are to help retain & reinforce the edge of the liner (original to the machine) as the holes for the screws (as on most old original liners) are cracked/broken out from over-tightening of the liner retaining screws. these strips will be concealed by the door gasket once it's in place, for now they are just holding the liner in place.

I have three parts machines, but they are all 64-C models ( they have the external/flush mounted front door, as opposed to the 64E having an inset/recessed front door) & the C & D model liners are 1st too wide & 2nd they have the type of door latch that passes through the liner, while an 64E has a side mounted latch (similar to a Vendo V63).
