I just bought a LaCrosse LCV 136-4, and I'm having a problem with it. The C.R.E.M's in the coin mech are staying in the de-energized state. So when I put a quarter in it's spitting it right back out. I bought another coin mech off ebay and it's doing the same thing. What are the odds that both have the same problem? Anyway I'm thinking it's something beyond the coin mech within the vending machine. Anyone have any ideas? Or more info on the LaCrosse LCV 136-4, I'm having no luck finding a service manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
             Jeff.

Maybe somebody else can help. But is the machine loaded with soda? I know one of my machine if it is not loaded with soda. It does not trip a switch. This switch allows the mech to take money. If there is no soda in the machine. The mech drops the money back out.
Has this machine been working at all or is how you got it?

First - Like USS said, check that there is product in the machine.
Second - Load the coin mech change tubes up. Quarters may not be accepted until there are enough nickels/dimes to give change.

Ok now I got the crems going down, had to have at least one can in each slot. I have it set to 50cents and when I put 50cents in It will spit out a coke with out pushing a button, but only from the first slot. If I try it from any other slot the vendor relay will engage and buzz and not distribute.

Here is a picture of the vend relay, what I think may be the problem. Anyone know where to get a replacement?

Thanks.

Might be a stuck button for that one soda to drop out. Also there was another machine on the board that you had to load a certain way. Once it was loaded. Everything was fine.

I just replaced the coin mech and it's still vending anything fromt he first slot without pushing the button. As soon as the second quarter is dropped a Pepsi comes out, I'm at a loss.
