JohnieG: I have a LCV-136-4 Pepsi machine just like the one you have. Do you have any information on it like when it was made? I am guessing late 60's?
Also does yours have the original container that catches the coins (other than the nickels)? Mine is missing and I am wondering what the original looks like (the guy I got it from thinks he may have it but I don't know if he knows what to look for).
Thanks for any information you can give me.

I just bought a LaCrosse LCV 136-4, and I'm having a problem with it. The C.R.E.M's in the coin mech are staying in the de-energized state. So when I put a quarter in it's spitting it right back out. I bought another coin mech off ebay and it's doing the same thing. What are the odds that both have the same problem? Anyway I'm thinking it's something beyond the coin mech within the vending machine. Anyone have any ideas? Or more info on the LaCrosse LCV 136-4, I'm having no luck finding a service manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff.
