Does anyone know if you can buy a new cardboard condenser fan shroud?

I thought Steve @ Fun-Tronics sold a couple different version...  I could be wrong, but getting some black mat board from your local craft store is a start.  Hopefully, your original is still somewhat intact to use as a template.

Jim mentioned the craft store black matte board as a possible way to make a shroud. I did it with very little problems for my Cavalier 55 and it turned out great and looks very original.

The only part thof making itthat differs from the way the factory made it is the process they used to create bends in the shroud material. At the factory they used a diecut press to initially cut out the shape and then used press to create a zig-zag pleat at the bend so that the material did'nt "break" at the bend. After some trial and error, I ended up just bening the material very slowly and deliberately untill it looked right.

Most box/packaging stores sell a box making tool that have a 'star' wheel on one end and a way to measure on the other end.
