Look what I found!

You all know I'm into round tops, but look at this nice square top that followed me home the other day. I think it a Cavalier 12-96. Is that right? My wife says I can not not keep it, so should I sell it AS IS or part it out? What is it worth? Plug it in and it comes on and gets cold. Let me know what you all think.

The biggest problem is that it is missing a lot of shelves. Unfortunately that is one of the most valuable parts. You will need to complete it before selling whole and the shelves are not reproduced. Someone here may have an extra set. The machine complete I would say is worth about $250 to $300 max. Parting it out complete would be about $350 if you are lucky. The best thing is that it cools. I would part it out and keep the refrig unit and keep it for a C96-72 round top that doesn't cool that you will find later. It wouldn't be correct but it does fit and it does work.

I've had two of those a long long time ago, great machine for a party
took a long time for them to get empty but on the flip side expensive to fill
I sold mine for $400 each
