Stock your Machine

To the Michigan Guys:
I just stopped at Meijer to see what pop flavors they had in 12 oz. glass bottles. They have all of the IBC flavors on sale for $2.50 a six pack plus deposit. Seemed like a pretty good deal.
The USS 64 is stocked and ready to vend! Of course I left a shelf or two for Diet Coke and Labatt's!!!

As this "Newbie" just learned, IBC bottles will not vend
from a USS 64--a bit too wide at the bottom to allow the selector knob to turn!
I guess I should have asked the SMC experts out there before making my purchase!
Oh well, I still got a good deal on some old time pop!
You live and you learn--this won't be the last $20 mistake I will make!

It is bizarre that your Cavalier USS-64 can't do IBC's. Mine can! Do I have an unusual machine ?

Dan,
Which direction do you load them? Maybe I am doing something wrong. Or maybe the bottles are different in your market?
Thanks!

Try putting them in neck towards the back. The USS has a little bar on the cradle that doesn't allow a vend if nothing is present. Some beer bottles I've put in do not touch this lever and will not allow it to be selected if put in neck pointing towards the front of the machine.

D'Oh!!! I guess it helps to know how to load the machine!
We are vending now! Root Beer, Diet Root Beer, Cream Soda and Black Cherry!!! The kids will have to add .35 to get a pop now! At least I will be able to defray some of the cost!
THANKS GUYS!

Crush no longer fits through my Vendo63. They shortened them and the base is too fat.
