just a few quick pic's of a V39 I've been working on as a winter project...almost there...the closeup of the lock & cam is a repro unit from Chris at Curtis Auto, top notch repro! fits like a glove, & the gold cad' finish adds a nice touch.

Thanks, it was a poor attempt at a two-tone paint job in the begining with a good case of liner-rustout on the bottom area of the liners' floor, (due to a typical plugged drain outlet)  you can see the new panel in place in the one closeup. I even found two mercury dimes stuck in the coinmech (1923 & 1936) jammed in the nickel slot & stuck in place inside a glob of dried up grease. the compressors still running nice & quite, and cold too. the owner supplied the repro (Cornhuskers) vending drum & ratchet assy, while the fan-shroud & decals came from Steve Ebener at  Funtronics ( some of the decals are not yet applied) it's done in Centari Enamal (coke) red & white on the embossing,

Pat Pixley cut me the nice set of breaker-strips from some nice textured pvc plastic ( using the cracked originals as a templet) they turned out great & they add some depth to the looks of the inner cabinet & were WAY more flexible & easier to install than the original "crack-a-matic" phenelic plastic types. the coin return cup is a repro too. but the handle & opener bezel & coinbezel & decal are original, I only replaced what was damaged or missing.
