Yep, it's a VF56d/sap (Pepsi)  from the very-early 1960's , this one has the lightup sign option, while most had a small 4 inch square 3-D Pepsi medalion for a sign, ( see my posting in post 60's machines) they go from anywhere between $200-400.00 mine fell in the middle price-wise. they're nice machines, but be sure it's complete as some of the trim parts are only two model years in production & hard to find replacements, but many of the main parts, shelves, bottle door, compressor assy's  are interchangable with some later models ( ohter VF56/VF81's & V63/V90's.

The upper hinge was sprung . What can be done to repair this and does the door liner and cabinet line have to be removed to adjust this ? It looks like the upper right side of the main door was hit and shoved the hinge to the left .  Where do you get the special tool to remove the screws, Ace hardware ? Any help is appreciated .

if you mean the special clutch-headed screws ( looks like a bow-tie) you can find the drivens ( for a 1/4" driver set) at sears hardware and I've also found them at Lowes hardware, they come in 3 sizes,

Are the hinges welded on or bolted on ? I need to align one.

It looks like the upper right side of the main door was hit and shoved the hinge to the left .

I might suggest a 10# sledge hammer and shove that hinge back to the right.
Probably would work better with the door lifted and removed first.

I guess a better question would have been how does the main door come off?  laugh

I think it just lifts off; however, if your top hinge is bent it may require a little more effort to lift off the hinge pin.

My six cents,
