Jim,
I saw this on Oldgas.com, and was pretty cool... he had a link of some ebay auctions that where gas/oil related on the top of the page. there was also a spot on one of the pages where you could just put in the ebay item number of an auction, it it brought you right to that ebay listing. I know we often post ebay item numbers or link to auctions, but I believe he (the owner of Oldgas.com, Jim Potts) had posted that he gets Money for having this link?? so not only is it a nice conveince, but could help offset some costs for servers space, your time, etc.....

Just a thought, go to Oldgas.com to check it out and I'm sure you could contact the moderator Jim Potts about it, he seems like a nice enough guy.

Over on the left do you see a section called Ebay Auctions under User Menu?  There is some soda stuff listed there.
Jim must have something up his sleeve!  oh

I am not sure, but on oldgas they might also get a portion of anything that is purchased when the auction number is put into the eBay search that is on their site.  It doesn't have to be gas related.

Yes they do get a fee from ebay everytime an auction is won by using that link... The owner, Jim said in a post earlier this month that is how he affords to run the site... so it must be a pretty good deal? Free money is always good!

Surprisingly, I just started looking into "ebay.rover" as it's commonly called, I think, a few weeks ago...
I haven't had time to get back to it so I can see how things really work...
Currently, the query string cannot be too complex and "soda+machines" returns some extraneous items, but I will be looking more closely over the weekend when I'll have a little more time...

Thanks for the direction ! ! !

Jim,
Maybe try "cola+machine"?
That would cover RC Cola, Coca Cola, etc.

What about under categories. Colamachines.com used to go to the Banks,Registers, vending section.
