Westinghouse 44SK Compressor fan not running.

Hi Guys
Plugged the 44SK in and let it run for a while. The coils frosted up and it got pretty cool inside the cabinet.
Checked below and the compressor was boiling hot. The fan had not kicked in at all.
Would this be a motor issue or could it be anything else...?
The person I bought it from had not used it in a long while..
Thanks
Dave

If it's a fanmotor issue, get some oil inside of it and it may
come back to life until you order a replacement.
We should consider ourselves lucky in that these fanmotors
are in-expensive and prettywell universally used by most manufacturers
throughout all the years. When ordering 1, it's safe to purchase a
spare or 2 as they are the only mechanical part of a soda machine
that actually "wears out"
Correction.......I just noticed the W-44 has no lower fanmotor.
only the cooling coils in rear.

It is the fan motor Dave , Like glen was saying when you order
a new one also buy one to put on the parts sheve .
I have one setting on a sheve or in a cabinet or in the basement
Well I've got a spare some place .
Just order two when you do it Ok.

Glen - I've just looked at the rear and there is definately a fan blade. Its dark now and I'm not in the right mood to get the deck out.
Do you mean there is no seperate motor for the blades?? Or do I have some sort of donor compressor deck??
Pat - Will do with the motors.

Just a quick thought on your fan issue, check down below with a flashlight (torch) & make sure that the cardboard fan shroud isn't pinning the fanblades, or perhapes a local mouse has built a comfy nest between the fan & condensor coil? with the machine off/unplugged give the fan a spin with your finger, if it spins freely, then I'm afraid you're in for an electric motor replacing.
