I just bought one for $300, but the coin mech is missing a couple of parts and I do not know if the compressor works yet (I know it runs, but do not know if it cools yet).
I think Signguy said he has been selling sliders complete and working for $600 or so.

I've been getting $650 for a complete Glasco Slider with Rack and Coin mech and Good original paint... missing rack selling for around 450, missing rack and coin mech for 250-300... and all with good paint. bad paint = less money.
below is photo of one that was complete and sold for 650.00

"Bad paint = less money"  Great statement.  happydrinkers

Let's etch this motto into our estimated values section.

The same machine, one with nice paint and one that needs
a complete make-over are at opposite ends of the value scale,
weather they work or not!

It's safe to say that most people underestimate the time
and money they will spend on painting a machine.

I just had a glasco gbv-50 given to me. I had no idea what it was until I researched it. Unfortunately someone painted it an awful tan color and it is missing the coin mechanism and racks. The good thing is, is that it works great and stays really cold. I am a custom Painter for serotta bicycles so I wanna restore it. A couple of questions- Were the coca cola emblems decals or were they painted, and can I get missing parts still? Please help! help

The original Fishtail style logo was painted on with some sort of stencil I'd guess... I have the correct vinyl Decal for that cooler if you'd like one, I sell them for $25.00 shipped! It's super easy to install.  the other missing parts will be available, Coin mechs pop up occasionally for between 150-200, Racks occasionally do as well... but if your looking to actually use it , not alot of standard bottle fit well in them. I have a rack for mine, but took it ou and just stack cans and bottles in it and just use it as a reach in cooler! Racks do pop up once in a while from 175-225 or so.
lets see a photo of it now and when you get it done.
Let me know if you need the coke logo decal or other decals for it.
